My grandmother and her family lived on Georges Branch my father was born there does anyone remember Cochrans or any Jents ,Slones from there, and could anyone tell me about a graveyard that is there, that is where my ggrandmother is buried Mary Bell Slone/Sloan Jent Kathy

Hey kcg1951, my grandparents have a very old cemetary on their property where many, many of the deceased from Georges Branch are buried. If you follow Georges Branch all the way up to where the road forks, turn left (and I'm not talking about the Left Fork where the Hurley's live). It's on the gravel part, and gravel all the way up! You'll eventually come to a huge hill. It's rather difficult at times to drive up there so most people use a 4-wheel drive. At the top of the hill you will find it.
