the things that you two described in your comments here that people used to see on main street and other streets that are close to main street are now becoming more common in some of the hollows in and close to hazard is what i was trying to type.

Yes! I agree with you 1,000%! Happy is a great mayor, just like I knew in my heart that he would be. I'm thankful to God that he won the mayor's race as well. I used to visit family and friends in Hazard at least 5 times a year while I lived exclusively in Lexington. I saw the drug addicts who appeared to be homeless wandering up and down Main Street and nearby streets, and their problematic, strange ways, to put it kindly. Now that Happy is mayor, I don't see nearly as much of that and the so-called "working women" that used to hang around The Broke Spoke and The Triangle, trying to flag down "customers". Hazard has made so much progress lately, even just within the last few months. And just to be perfectly clear though, I have no ill will towards homeless people. Anyone can be homeless someday if a few things goes wrong in their lives in a certain sequence. I help homeless people whenever I can safely and wisely. I do agree with everyone on this message board and other sites that say that Hazard doesn't need drug-addicted homeless people with extensive criminal records brought here from other counties and other states to take help from local people in Hazard, then turned loose to roam the streets and cause extra problems for the community. It's widely believed for good reasons that the local meth problem didn't take off like it did here until people from Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Tennessee with meth problems started moving here and showing local people how to make and use it. Hopefully, after all the positive changes made in Hazard recently, things are going to continue to go in a positive direction here though. I know that my family, friends, and I are doing our part to help the community as much as we possibly can and we will continue to do so!

That is almost exactly what I said in another thread, lol. I'm just so amazed at how much that people see things the way that I see them as I'm reading through the comments in a bunch of these threads on this site. It's like they have taken the words right out of my mouth, lol. Wow, and yes, I praise God that Happy Mobelini won the mayor's race even though I don't live in Hazard anymore because I still have a few family and friends who live there like other people were saying that they do too on this thread. Mr. Mobelini knows what Hazard's problems are and how to actually fix them so if he can't fix, I don't think that anyone can, plus he actually cares about "people" and doesn't act like a stuck-up, holier-than-thou snob like most politicians do until voting time is coming around again.
