I am looking for relatives of Elbert Garrett that worked for Blue Diamond coal company. He was not raised by his parents but knew his father was Benjamin Harrison Garrett. He had around 10 children. I am a relative and would like to have their names for my genealogy. I have only seen a picture of Elbert when he was younh. My grandmother Rachel Garrett Stacy was his full blooded sister and she was raised by someone else also. Their mother Suzan Allen Garrett died during childbirth. Please let me know if you know any of my family.
I'd like to know more about Benjamin Harrison Garrett. My maternal grandfather's name was Benjamin Harrison Stamper, and he had a younger brother named Garrett. They were originally from Breathitt County.
My dad (Fred Kennedy) and his father (Basil Kennedy) both worked at Blue Diamond. My grandfather retired, and my dad quit when he was injured.
