went to school with john earl at walkertown elem. His dad owned a liquor store in walkertown down from the state police barracks. left hazard i 1970,remember all the old good places.still think about them often,had lot of family from glowmar to walkertown
Earl's Drive In was owned by John Earl Goff and was located on North Main Street. Best Slim Jim's in town.
Still having a drive in theater in Perry County would be so neat. I wonder why that one closed. People talk a lot around here about wanting more things like that to come back to this area again. It would do really well in this day and time. Nostalgia of the 1980's and the 1970's is big and in style again right now. Some 1990's trends are coming back too. I really like all that. I hope that it stays that way.
