Devner Ray went to school with my daughter, and was a very well liked person, he was working a gun and started to put it away and it went off and shot him in the stomach and hit a main artery, he had always handle guns and was familiar with them,he just had a terrible accident, it seems that God called in one of his angels. The lay out for Denver Ray will be tonight at Engle Funeral home on main street and I would like to ask for all of you too keep his mother Tonya and his Dad Ray in your prayers since he was a only child. Pray for God to give them strength to get thur what has happen. Denver Ray will be missed by all of his family and friends.

I will miss denver. He was one of my best friends. We had alot of fun times together in the 80's and as we grew older, we kindda went separate ways, as we all do through time. It's just makes me realize, that life is way too short and we need to cherish every minute we have with a TRUE friend. Time may pass, but the memories of my friend Denver will always be in my heart. My heart goes out to Ray and tonya lee, you are great parents and I love you! you're friend David Miller
We all just keep fading away dont we DHO? We were all brothers and a tight nit group during the 80's but you are right, we have all gone our seperate ways and dont really get to see one another that much anymore. I know it has been at least a year since I last saw Denver Ray. He was just as excited to see me as I was him. I will miss him dearly. It seems like a lifetime since we have all been in the same room together and I sure miss those times. Hang in there my brother. Hopefully we will see each other again real soon. It seems like it has been at least 2 years since you and I have talked but that doesnt mean that I dont think about you and yours all the time. Later on my brother.... Chief Chuck

I didn't know Tonda's son, but I can only imagine what she must be going through. I worked with Tonda at the hospital, and you couldn't ask for a nicer and more considerate person than her. I am so sorry for her loss as well as her husband. Please pray for her and her husband, that they will be able to remember all the good things and times and go on with the memories of their son. God bless you both.
I hated so bad to hear that about Denver, I worked with him at the hospital and we had became very good friends. He went to school and graduated with my brother. He was a great friend and will always be remembered, we had some great times together. I thought the world of him and Tonda. She too is a great person and has a very hard road ahead of her as well as big Denver , I can only imagine what they r going through, she was so close to him. She had told me that she was glad she retired this last year because she got to spend it with him, he had came home. I will never forget him, he will always hold a very special place in my heart. And my prayers go out to Tonda and Denver Sr especially at this time of year, going through the hollidays will be very hard, I lost my brother and my dad and things are never the same but I know it's nothing like loosing your child and I hope that I never have to experience that. God Bless You Tonda and Denver, you both are in my prayers.
