I am a Watts at birth but I am part Deaton, Noble, and are also kin to the duffs. My grandpa was David Alfred Deaton My Grandmaw was Cora Deaton Noble.Cora was the dauter of Richard and Poccohauntiss Noble. They are all buried at red hill. I also have aunts and uncles buried there.P.S. Pokkie as she was kalled was Cherrokee Indian Iam told What was Pokie's maiden name? We have a Pocahontas ( Aunt Pokie} in the family, her mother was half indian

There's Cherokee in my family also. Susie Fox, a great grandmother. Can't find anything through her line. Families names are Feltner, Moore, some Stacys in there somewhere.

RE: indian families in perry co I am looking for any proof that *Pleasant D. Williams Born 1812 Clay County, Kentucky was an Indian Chief. Pleasant was the son of *John Thomas WILLIAMS, Sr married to *Rebecca Combs b 1789 KY d 1896 Perry Co KY. Rebecca was the daughter of *Nicholas "Danger" Combs. I am also seeking Death and Birth records for each of the above *people. It was also mentions that Rebecca mother *Nancy GRIGSBY or father might have been part Cherokee. I would love to find something out about this as well.

I have heard that my ggggrandmother was a cherokee indian and her name was Nancy Campbell who married Daniel Boone Brewer Nancy's mother was Patsy Williams who married John Campbell can any one help please email at astacy@windstream.net

I spoke to a lady at the Archives Museum in Frankfurt some years back who had studied Eastern Kentucky families for 45 years and she told me 90% of the folks that are sure they have Indian Bloodline actually don't. Just saying....I was told that too but can't find any proof of it because it probably wasn't true. Who knows.

My family is FIELDS and I know they were Indians. Can anyone provide me with what kind of Indians? My Great grandmother was Mahala Fields. She was from there and was full blooded Cherokee. Her mother was Sara Rountree. Mahala’s daughter was Serena Fields who married Carl Campbell. They are my grandparents. Serena was from Busy and Carl from Big Willard
