Hey, anyone out there ever sneak into Coolies because you were under age? I did that a few times..Remember the house band "Soup Bean"? My cousin Robert used to play in that band..He's in the process of making a new CD with some old Soup Bean music on it..Boy those were the days..

It was at Scuddy right beside the old metal bridge on the left right after you cross the RR tracks going towards Vicco. I think before it burned it was called the trap. They had various bands that came and played there. One band that James Booth played with became famous. A man named Stokley sang for this band.

i miss all the fun bars and clubs that used to be around in perry county back when i lived there in the 80s and the 90s but now i only visit the few relatives of mine that are still living in and close to perry county once about every two to three years in the summer time. i dread seeing what main street looks like when i drive through there later tonight because it looks worse every time that i drive through there.

Yes, I remember it, too. It was nicknamed "Cool's", by some frequent guests there. I remember the house band "Soup Bean", too. I really enjoyed their music. Hey, Wild Turkey, did Robert ever finish making that c.d.? I would like to buy one, if so.
