J.G. Stacy of Upper Second Creek, Kentucy, across from Darfork or the old MC Napier H. S.. He settled in Christopher in the early 1900's. He bought a large portion of Christopher, Ky. He invented a loading mechanism for rail road cars and sold it to the coal company or rail for 10,000.00 and astronomical sum in those days and with the money brought the aforementioned property. His father was Shadrack Stacy came from Tidewater Virginia after a dispute with his father. He left in Virginia several brothers and sisters. J.G. Stacy ran a gris mill for many years which ground corn for local farmers. He married Susan Combs the sister of Black Bob and Black Ed (Black Bob known for is starting schools and teaching for many many years and father of R.W. Combs and Dilce Combs to name a few) (Black Ed was a sherrif in Vicco for a while.) Jim and Susan Stacy had many children I only know of a few so here goes: Nancy who married Loyd Combs-Banker in Hazard and who owned the sand stone house next to the Cinema for years. / Lloyd Stacy first cousin of namesake Lloyd Plowman of upper second creek, Kentucky, Dee Stacy -Father of Elmer (not Elmer "Fat" Stacy) of Glomawr and Vernon Stacy of Glomawr. Jonathan Stacy, Tug Stacy, Sug or SugaBabe- she married Taylor Cornett of Glomawr who was the mining superintendent in Foreseam,Ky for years their children were Taylor and Coolie Cornett,, Batey or Batie Stacy of Upper Second Creek but known as Bate. Bate married Stella Gent Ritchie of Upper Second Creek their children were: Stanley Sr., Cornie Ritchie, Idella Hurt, Eugene, Robert (Pickle), Wooten (Ooten or Cross), Donnie Lawerence Stacy. There is a Foggy set of Stacys that were of no immediate kin to this set also of upper second creek. There is a set between Dwarf and Rowdy that were very dark and had a lot of indian in there family and in Pidgeon Roost some married into Ike Smiths family. End of tale.Shadrack Stacy had a first cousin a Shadrack Combs they both join the Union "Three Forks Battalion and were stationed up on the Big Sandy River near the West Virginia Border. I forgot one of his sons was Shade Stacy and his sister I think was Nancy? She married an orpan whom was a Wooten but was taken in by the Feltner family. Lute or Luke Wooten Feltner married Nancy and they moved to Glomawr, Ky. and had 14 surviving children and most of these had 12 to 14 kids and in the 1970's Glomawr became Feltnerville. There's at least one Shade Feltner named after Lt. Shade Stacy from the Civil War.
