Thanks to all of you who have posted to my Uncle Jerry. He was a great man, a great father to his children, a great husband to his wife, and the best uncle a girl could ask for. He was my favorite uncle. He loved with all he had and he fought hard to stay in ths world for his family. Jerry and Deanna have been together for many years and she fought with everything in her to get him and to keep him. She was his rock. The love between Jerry and Deanna truly was until death do they part. We should all be that fortunate to have a love that lasts like that. Deanna is a great woman and she has been through alot. My Uncle Jerry was blessed to have found her and blessed to be with her. He will be missed by all of us and I know he is up there watching over us. Smile on Uncle Jerry.I love you and miss you already. Love Malena

Deanna, Latosha and Jerica, Our thoughts are with you , If you need anything please let us know we will always be here for the three of you. Randy has really been tore-up over all of this, Jerry always had a great time no matter where he was or what was going on with him, take for instant when he had his leg taking off, out side the hospital you would never have known it he was laughing and cuttin up. That is the Jerry you seen no matter what was going on, he could always brighten your day. Jerry thanks for all the great time we all shared together...

Here is a good memory I have of Jerry when we played football:
We were playing Wayne County in Wayne County and Jerry was going off. I think he ended up with something like 236 yards rushing for the game. I can't remember if anyone had topped that at MCN up to that point (maybe Larry Napier if anyone). We talked about that game everytime we saw each other for years. It was killer. I forget how many touchdowns he scored, it was 3 or 4.
Anyway, we had a play called the "flea flicker" and it was my and Jerry's favorite play. Basically, I would go out for a short 4 or 5 yard pass and when I caught the ball, the defender would come up and tackle me but just before I would go down, Jerry would come around and I would pitch the ball to him. The least amount of yards we ever got on this play was about 30 or 40, but many times Jerry turned these small would be 4 or 5 yard pass plays into 70 or 80 yard touchdown runs. No one, and I mean no one, could catch him if he got just 1 step ahead, it was a touchdown baby!
At Wayne County we ran the famous Fred and Jerry "flea flicker" and of course Jerry ran an 80 yard sprint to the end zone for one of his touchdowns later in the game. The crowd was going crazy and I was the first to run down the field congratulate him. When I came towards him he was jogging towards me and I bent down and said "...Jerry, jump into my arms and I'l hold you up to the crowd!!"
I thought he was going to jump and right when he got up to me he said "...man I can't I'm just too tired !!" and since I was expecting him to jump, he ran right over top of me !! It was one of the funniest things any of us had ever seen because the crowd got quiet and everyone was like "...why did that #40 just run over top of his team mate??? Wasn't that his buddy who just pitched him the ball??".
Plus we got to relive it many times over in the locker room and the whole team made fun of us for a long time because Bear Dixon video taped the game and caught it on film.
Whenever I hadn't seen Jerry for a while he would always say "...hey Fred, jump into my arms!!" and we would just start cracking up. Any of our team mates from back then will tell you just like I am right now that the happiest times we ever had were when we all played football together. We were brothers. And Jerry was one of the best football players I ever had the privilege of playing with.
Buddy, you have given me some of the best memories of my life and I love you man. Rest in peace and I'll help make sure you, Brian or any other of our good friends are not forgotten.
As I was walking it happens that I did see, a Levi's pocket lying on the ground. Lying in misery. It sat there all alone sort of like a loner thinking of the better days when it was with it's owner. To all the places they walked and the sites they'd see.To sexy women they would talk. That is how it used to be. As I walked I could hear it curse the ripper "Why me! Why not the beltloop or the zipper!
WE REALLY MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU WE CAN'T BELIEVE YOUR GONE SOMEONE SAID THAT YOU ALWAYS MADE EVERY DAY HAPPY AND IT'S TRUE YOU DID IF I WAS FEELING BAD AND SEEN YOU I ALWAYS FELT BETTER YOU HAD AWAY ABOUT YOU AND YOU WILL TRULY BE MISSED I LOVE YOU FROM JILL AND KRISTEN KRISTEN REALLY LOVED YOU TOO.

deeder, this is Bill's oldest girl....what you said about writing on here was like talking to jerry is so true. I don't know why but it works for me as well. It breaks my heart to read all these posts about Jerry cause there are a lot of people hurting but at the same time, what a tribute you guys are paying him. His wife and kids can get on here and read all the wonderful things being said about jerry and they can print them off and keep for their kids and grandkids. I love you all and I'm thinking about you...that's why I get on here, so I can check in to see how everyone is doing. As long as you relive your memories of jerry, you are some how keeping him alive....at least alive in our hearts. God Bless You All

Hey Uncle Jerry, just thinking of you as I do everyday. I have pictures of you in my purse as always and pictures of you hanging on my walls. It breaks my heart to look at them sometimes but I couldn't bear the thought of not seeing your smile. I miss you Jerry. I know we had our differences but I also know that you always loved me for me and you were my protector. You always had my back. I miss that and I miss hearing you tell me that you love me. Smile on Sweet Angel. I love you.
This is the family of Jerry Neace(Deanna, Jerica, and Latosha). We would like to thank everyone for all the support and help we have recieved. We know that everyone who knew Daddy loved him...even if you only talked to him for 10 minutes....it was just something he had about him. Thanks to who ever started this...This is the hardest times of our lives,so thanks again to all the support.Fred emial mommy at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Girls, I know how it feels now to lose your daddy, no greater pain, the only comfort tho I can think of is this, Jerry, daddy, Bill, Cora, Ruthine, Malcom, Marshae and all the rest of em are most likely having the best time ever and they havent a worry one. People always say that they are in a better place and it doesnt stop us from grieving but we have to believe that to make us feel better (if possible to feel better). Deanna, you are probably one of the strongest people I know, you have experienced heartache and devastation but yet you always worked and raised your children and took care of Jerry till the end. The Hollidays are going to be the hardest things to face without Jerry and Daddy, and I cant imagine it without them but they will be around us( I beleive that). Take care you three girls and we will remember you all thru the hollidays as well.
