Remember Jerry's Restaurant on East Main Street in Hazard? Wasn't there as I grew up, but remember their biscuits and gravy, when I was visiting back there. Also had good food. It opened on November 12th 1968 ...40 years ago.

I remember it well. They had great food and it was the hot spot in town for years. I use to love to set and watch all the cute guys go by and try to impress you with their burning rubber....lol. Those were the good old days!!
It is better to have love and lost to have never loved at all!!!!!
Astor "Cat" Sizemore was the owner. Bobby Riley was the manger. Big Ernie was the cook.
Also FYI there is another thread about Jerry's on page 7 or 8 of this section.
I can remember the Champ sandwich, the Ground Round with the onion ring on top, the Seafood Feast was good too, along with the fried chicken, cole slaw, hot fudge cake, and hot fudge sundays that came in the frosted metal servers.
