Hi and thanks for all the Birthday Wishes. I love you all and Carnas, Bandit is so cute with the hair cut; He reminds me of his Sis Candi. I still miss that little pooch. Tell him, I love him.

Hello all,
Good to see the posts. I sure wish the forum would pick up. I miss everyone.

Vi, Are you doing ok? I'm just getting over a bout with Bronchitis. I get it at least once every winter, this time it was going into Pneumonia. I better watch it, I guess. I'm getting to where I can breathe a little again though, so all is good. Did you find out anything else from your Doctor? Be sure to let us know. I love you!

Gammaw, We had trunk or treat at our Church last night. It turned out really well. I really enjoy doing that. The kids had a ball! I hope you and Roamer are well. Sure would love to see you. I love you both!

Louami, I hope you had a wonderful day yesterday. I saw the Birthday wishes, and thought OOPS! And then remembered I told you over the phone. I've done lost it, Sis! I hope your boys spoiled you rotten. Did Mr. wonderful call you and tell you Happy Birthday? Tell him I said Hello. I love you much, talk to you later. I have to do a "little" work now and earn my check.
Love you all,
God Bless,
SG

happy birthday louami
hope it was a good one.
how is mr ike doing?
couple of days away from halloween, it's on saturday this year, i was surprised because always before it was during the week. everybody watch out for these children so they will be safe, this is a special night for them to enjoy.
hardburly school like most of the others had halloween carnivals and they were so much fun, remember the confetti that we would buy and just throw it all over everybody, and the fish pond was something else too, it was so exciting to play, you would never know what the prize was, also the cake walk.
sg
i talked to angie today and she said that kim and tommy both were out of icu, they still need everyone's prayers.
everybody have a good evening. talk to you later.

Hello forum family,
Please pray for our Aunt malissa, she fell and broke her hip again. She is doing good though, she is scheduled for surgery in the morning. The Dr. is amazed at how good her health is for 96. Bless her heart, she's a real trooper. We love her dearly!

On a sadder note, little Cody went home to be with the Lord today. Please pray for his family. How awful to lose a child.

Louami, I was going to call you, but it was one of my "nightmare" days.
Love to all,
SG

happy halloween everybody
everybody watch out for the little goblins this evening, they are going to be excited over their treats running around so it is up to us to protect them.
sg
i am sorry to hear about your aunt melissa and for cody, it has to be awful hard on his family.
lancelot
for those who dont know about the cold springs and walking past it tonight, they might be in for a big surprise, they just might hear something walking behind them wont they. this reminds me of the tale that was told many years ago about this man walking home from the theater and passed what he thought was another man, so he turned back and started walking back up the road and passed this same man again, he did it several times, passing the same man, so he finally figured it out, it was a ghost, so he took off running to get away from it.
another time at the cold springs some young men decided to hide behind some trees and the next person that came along they were going to scare them, one of them had a white tshirt on and pulled it off and started waving it at the man, he had heard the tales about the haunted cold springs and just passed out in the middle of the road, the boys took off and never did tell anybody what they did until years later.
it is also said if you pass the cold springs at a certain time you will hear a baby cry that had been killed there, as far as the baby being killed i dont know about that. i just heard the tale of it, dont know if there is any truth too that. like lancelot said beware, i dont plan on walking by. thanks lancelot i had forgotten about the haunted cold springs until you mentioned it.
talk to everybody later, enjoy the evening if you can dodge the ghosts tonight.

hi everybody
i just wondered if anyone else noticed at walmarts this evening around 4 how many people were standing at all the doors with a big collection bucket, i counted 5 they were standing at all the doors outside, as i passed this one lady asked me if i wanted to donate anything, i asked her what she was collectiong for and she said abused children, about this time every year these people show up but they will never tell you where they are from or what organization gets the money and then they just disappear, does any one at all know where they come from. i didnt know that organizations did that, but i might be wrong, they very well might be legitimate, i just dont know. i like to help when i can but i want to know that it is going for the right thing.
i only got 4 little goblins last night, the rainy weather must have slowed halloween night down some.
lancelot
i havent heard anyone say anything about the cold springs last night, if they got chased or not.
everybody have a good evening.

hi everybody
hope this nice day finds everybody ok. it is awful quiet on the forum lately.
lancelot
i was wondering if you know when the hardburly cemetary was first started, i was there a while back and noticed that some of the graves didnt have any markers. i am just curious about it. i know it goes from the curve that used to go to mexico hollow to the top of the hill, i was told that no one was buried in the middle part, only on the bottom and the main top, do you know why?
everybody have a good evening.

Hello all,
Vi, I am sorry to hear that you have been so sick, I hope you are better. I haven't been posting much lately. The two girls have the flu, so I feel like I've been beat with a stick from running up and down the stairs taking care of them. The middle one's fever was so high it was scary yesterday. Please pray that none of the rest of us get it. And I have an unspoken I'd like all of you to pray about. You take care vi, i love you.

Fe, it is so good to see you posting. I hope things are getting a lot better for you. I've heard how bad that type of surgery is. I'm like Louami. my left one bothers me bad sometimes, but I sure don't have the nerve to have surgery. I forget in Church sometimes and lay my arm on the back of the pew, and when I take it down, I think its going to break. I guess we're all falling apart, age has caught up with us!
I hope you find out about the cemetary. You've got me curious. Me and Betty Sue played up there when we were little. Strange where kids will play. But then we left our mark on all of muddy Hollow. I can also remember walking around the hill with the whole family, looking for possum grapes. Man would I love to have some right now, I use to eat them till I almost got sick! Sure wish I was home, they should be good right now.

Louami, give me a call if you get time. I tried to call early but I don't think you were up. I love you Sis.

happy Belated Birthday little Sis! And Hello Fonz, I hope you are well.

I will talk to everyone later.

Oh, Vi, mother is doing much, much better. And so is Debi's uncle. Just pray that they put him on the heart transplant list, he is home and doing ok right now.

love to all,
SG

hi everybody
i walked down to the park today where they had a huge giveaway of food, clothes, and toys, it was organizations working with the tribbey church of God helping people. i wouldnt know how many people was there, it was so crowded, people were lined up all the way down in the park waiting their turn, i saw a lot of people that had stacks of blankets in their dollys, people were parked on both sides of the road almost to the cold springs, a lot of people were helped today, it was so good to see the good that was being done there today.
i was talking to eunice and susie and they were asking about my arm, i showed them how far i could raise it which is not very far at all, a preacher was sitting there handing out material and the next thing i knew he was calling for another pastor to come and help him pray for me, karen campbell the pastor of the tribbey church of God was standing there and she also came to pray for me, also a small child came and prayed with them, that is really something when you see a little one knowing the word of prayer.
karen is really a very good pastor, she cares for everybody.
i walked back up to the po and was talking to delsie and glenna came to the po, we talked for quite a while, a man from harlan stopped and talked to us and sang a couple of old songs, he was with a group from harlan, he said he would be joining us on the forum when he got his computer set up.
the dr said that if my arm did not improve he would have to put it back in place, i sure hope not i dont think i can stand any more pain.
lancelot
still waiting to hear from you.
everybody have a great weekend.

Hey forum, a big howdy to everyone, trust all is OK, or feeling better. Fe, I do not know when the cementery on 400 hill started, but maybe Miss Hardburly could tell you a lot about the cementery. From our front porch on 700 hill I had a nice view of the cementery. And Fe, I hope your arm gets better, and keep using it all you can.

Everyone have a good week, and may all your good fortunes be 10X10.
