I would like an invitation -- my gg-grandfather was William Stacy married Polly Engle - my g-grandfather was Silas Stacy married Dicy Godsey and my grandfather was Robert Stacy married to Louvernia Noble.

Im a grandaughter of prudie stacy married to luther holland. Stacy family used to have a reunion first or second Sunday in Aug are they still doing a reunion?

I would like an invite to the stacy website...My great-grandmother was Hulda Stacy and is buried in the Homeplace Cemetary.

My grandfather Sam stacy and his wife Ida Terry are from hazard. They have both passed away now. He was a Coal miner. They lived in Avawan on big creek. His Parents were Hiram Stacy and Pollyan Miller. According to Hiram death Certificate his father was Fielden Combs and his mother was Betty Stacy. James "Straight Jim" Stacy sons were William"Smoker Bill"Stacy and James "Blossom Eye"Stacy. James "Straight Jim" Stacy was my 3rd great grandfather his son James "Blossom Eye"Stacy was my great great grandfather. James "Blossom Eye" Stacy son Levi Stacy was my great grandfather. Levi Stacy and Jasper Stacy were first cousins. Jasper Stacy was a big land owner he once owned all that land where the homeplace clinic is now. Levi Stacy was also a big land owner.

The surname Eustace emerged as Stacey or Stacy about the 15th century. I've research on the stacy's ancestors back to 1066. the stacy's are decended from Guy Eustace ll count of Boulogne France, he was a descendant of charlemagne, only on the Stacy coat of arms you will find his first name Guy, Guy Eustace ll was married to Goda she was the daugther of King Ethelred ll of England. his brother in-law was Edward the Confessor King of England. Edward the Confessor and William the Conqueror were cousins. after the death of Eward the Confessor. Eustace ll was the chief instigator of the norman invasion in 1066 and he was William the Conqueror's lieutenant, after the death of Eustace ll wife Goda. he married Ida of Lorraine she was also a descendant of Charlemagne, their three sons were Eustace who inherited his father's extensive English honors, and later crusading leaders, Godfrey and Baldwin of Bouillon. the movie Kingdom of Heaven is about Guy Eustace ll famous son Godfrey of Bouillon.

The Ballifield Manor was The Stacy Family Home for many Generations. Ballifield Manor, Yorkshire County Hansworth,England

Barton Stacey History, The parish takes its name from saxon times, when the village was Bertun("ber" or barley and "tun"or place-another name for farmyard?) a Royal Manor of Edward the Confessor. in 1206 the Manor was bestowed on Sir Rogo de Stacey and become Berton of Stacey or just Barton Stacey. http://www.bartonstacey.parish.hants.gov.uk

Here's the obituary of my uncle General Stacey, this is from the University of Kentucky College of Education Alumi notes. General Stacey, M.A. of Jupiter, Florida, died Monday, November 20, 2000. He was 101. He was born in Ary, Kentucky, and earned his bachelor's degree from Eastern Kentucky University before attending the University of Kentucky. He taught in Perry County Schools and later in Florida Schools in Palm Beach and Glades Counties.

I remember them very well this is Rogers daughter, they lived at Ary tho behind the post office. They did live at Pegion Roost for a year or so when I was little. Aunt Linda and dad are still around Linda lives in Knott Co. and Dad lives at Ary.
